I posted yesterday about the CBI demanding all 3 zero notes be turned in. I have found out more information about this. Shabibi is one smart cookie in how he is doing this.

CBI gives them a certain amount of time to bring in the 3 zero notes, exchanging them for USD. (They are flooding the streets with USD as we speak, not small denoms.)

RV the IQD to the new realistic rate.

Recall all USD with a time limit also on this. After time is up, owning foreign currency becomes illegal.

Now they have the same value of monies they held before, but have not become any richer.

That is ingenious, they get a new rate without having half the country becoming instant millionaires. Of course, that is different in country than with a speculator such as us. We just get the new rate being out of contry. Makes it easy for them to pay us off and be done with it.

Have you heard anything positive lately.

They are still processing as above. This might take a week or two to complete.
